What We Believe

we believe...
SCRIPTURE We believe the Scriptures to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God. They are revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct. (II Tim. 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21) The Bible is the final authority for all we believe and how we are to live.GODHEAD We believe in one true God, manifested into three person's: FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT, who are equal in deity, power, wisdom and glory. JESUS He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed endless miracles and died for the sins man. He rose on the third day and ascended to the right hand of Father- as our Intercessor and He WILL come again to take His Bride. SALVATION We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. No ordinance, ritual, work or any other activity on the part of man is required or accepted in order to be saved. We believe a person is saved when they repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ. (Acts 13:38-39; Romans 5:1; 1 Cor 6:11 and Mark 1:5) PRESENT WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT We believe that the Holy Spirit is at work today within the Church through His gifts, fruits and anointed ministers. We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to every believer and need to be activated and exercised to fulfill their divine purpose of blessing and serving the body of Christ. DELIVERANCE / INNER HEALING We believe a Christian cannot be demonized; however, one can be oppressed, depressed, and a mess. Therefore we believe in deliverance from, and the casting out of evil spirits in the name of Jesus Christ. We do not view deliverance and inner healing as a one time event, but rather an ongoing sanctification process. (Eph 4:27, Matt 28)ORDINANCES We believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are two ordinances of the Church that are to be observed until the time of Christ's return. They are not a means of salvation, but are channels of God's sanctifying grace and blessing to the faithful in Christ Jesus. BAPTISM We believe that water baptism is an act of emersion which symbolizes a personal and public statement of faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Matt 28: 19-20; Acts 8: 38; Rom 6:1-4 and 1 Pet 3:21) LORD'S SUPPER We believe in and acknowledge the ordinance of the Lord's Supper in remembrance of Jesus Christ and as a testimony of our communion with Him in His Body, the Church. (Luke 22: 13-20; 1 Cor 11:23-26)MARRIAGE We believe that marriage and family are sacred institutions - ordained by God since the beginning of human history. Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman. Any other definition of marriage is contrary to the Holy Bible and against the will of God. (Gen. 1:27-28; 1Cor. 7:2; Heb. 13:4; Matt 19:5)CHURCH GOVERNMENTWe believe that the New Testament Church should be Apostolic in nature and is governed by delegated authorities.CHURCH RELATIONSHIPWe believe it is our responsibility to identify ourselves with a congregation of believers with whom we can worship God, exhort and support one another, labor for the salvation of others, and work together to advance the kingdom of Heaven . (Acts 15:5; Hebrews 10:24)TITHES AND OFFERINGSWe believe that tithes and offerings are ordained of God to sustain His ministry, to spread the gospel, and to release personal blessing in the life of a believer. (Mal 3:10; 1 Cor. 16:1-2)SECOND COMINGWe believe in the visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ to this earth and to rapture His Church (Bride) and judge the world (Acts1:10,11; 1 Thes 4:13-18; 2 Thes 1:7-10; James 5:8; Rev 1:7).

treehouse kidz

No dream is too small in the Treehouse at Resurrection Life. Treehouse Kidz is a fun and exciting place where children Newborn through 5th grade can come experience God in a real way. We believe children don't have to wait until they're old enough to do great things for God. Here, children will receive age appropriate teaching and interaction that will help them come alive in who God has created them to be. Treehouse Kidz meets every Sunday morning for Bible Study at 9:15 a.m. and during the regular Worship service beginning at 10:30 a.m.

We hope to see you Sunday in the Treehouse, where Jesus is our Superhero!

This ministry exists to provide men of all ages the opportunity to "sharpen" their spiritual lives by connecting with other men. Here, we are challenging, training, and equipping men to

live holy and to be spiritual leaders in their homes, their church, and their community.
